Today the Ikea Leko concept has been finally revealed. To everyone’s big disappointment, Leko is not a car at all. Actually it’s not even a proper car-sharing service, but barely a website where people can try to hitch a ride to a Ikea from a fellwo driver.
Well, at least you have to salute Ikea for an extremely successful viral marketing campaign. Too bad that the actual product was such a disappointment.

The car-sharing site can be found from covoiturage.ikea.fr
What do you think, was this the lamest concept from Ikea so far ever?
First real images of Ikea Leko leaked?

Sorry, just could not resist the temptation.
Anyway, the as this illustrates, the concept of a car model by the Swedish furniture giant is not entirely a new thought.
